There really isn't any comparison with the Pythons. Most all the others were formed by the Python's influence. I'd have to include Mr. Show to the list, however.

it's not shite! well...SNL sometimes is(who the hell thinks chris farley is funny?:nonono: ). but you gotta be north american to know who kids in the hall is...not famous...but has a very big cult following in america and canada. and it's a canadian troop! yeah! and dave foley rocks!

I'm not terribly familiar with Brit comedy beyond the Anglos on the list (MP, Goons, Fringe) so I guess this should be "Fave comedy troupe for North Americans only", but that's more than a mouthfull
