Bloody hell, now this is a difficult one to answer! Went with Heroin, cause I just love the tension building up from the first songs, and knowing that Heroin goes over the top. Not to say that the last 3 songs are slouches, but the tempo and lyrics of that song are irresistible.
A poll about whether or not the Cale-era VU was better than the post-era would produce an equally divided result, I should imagine. Myself, I'll go with Cale in the band.
Femme Fatale for me, though it could have been one from seven. This was the second album I ever owned, and still in my top ten all-time favourites.

Probably Heroin. Although Sunday Morning, I'm Waiting For The Man and Venus In Furs are also very mighty. Like Femme Fatale too. Hell, the whole thing's great.
