this just can't be a poll (yet) because there are so many, and many from the past that i've never seen.

my shout out goes to huntsman and to grinspoon, who's posted once (as of this posting), on the 'NOOL ultimate poll: best new order song' thread (page five). i almost spit my water all over the keyboard when i saw this avatar. nice one!

i think it was wen order who made them. he made 4 of them...wen order took hooky, iain curtis took ian curtis (where is he?), and i cannot remember who took stephen.

I think if you look closely at the full picture you can see Sebastien in the rear view mirror.

Some special kind of cow he took a picture of.. if you like closely, I put Sebastien's real picture in the MIRROR... (zoom in profile)

Shugs avatar is a bit grainy cause of the size limit imposed by Nic :cry:

We used Fade2Black and it sadly lacks in compression techniques, hence the granularity (or whatever its called!)

However dont fear there are more clearer small fidgeting Barneys to come soon!! :nod: :nod: :nod:

Actually, I like the "granularity", it makes it hazy (pun intended) and misterious.

Well, size.. actually since you can turn them off now, I guess it's not something you have to consider, just don't abuse..

it's more height & width that I'm concerned.. 150x150 should be the limit, 125x125 would be perfect.

Ps: Nic serious question, if the filesize is too big i get a script timeout error, is this just crap connection on my part or a Mod imposed limit? :confused:

incidently what is the maximum avatar file byte size or one which you would let upload??
