Currently it is 8.30am in the morning, and me and Brasco have started drinking aftershock, for those of you who live oversea's aftershock is a bit of a c**t, it's 40% proof, but it does the trick
we have been drinking since last night about 5'o'clock.....and we were wondering what is your drink of choice?

beginning of the evening: mcewan's 80% (with maybe a whisky and coke thrown in there).
later on, when my tastebuds are tamed: whisky, preferably ardbeg or another islay malt, or tequila shots. i've also been known to have a shot of aftershock or three.
the day after or when i'm not drinking alcohol: pepsi, tropical-flavoured squash or good ol' water.
of course, here in the states we don't have mcewan's (that i can find), squash (although i did find ribena in the 'imported foods section' of the local supermarket), and i haven't seen ardbeg about. plus, i'm not drinking at the moment, so for now it's............water.
Having sampled most of the major American brand beers (Coors, Bud, etc.) the best in my humble opinion is Bud regular.
I also love Killian's Red, Smirnoff Ice, Heineken (sometimes), Rum and Coke, Tom Collins.....after a night of several of these, your kidneys will never forgive you.
well...when I can get my paws on it, I think the world of Stella Artois...still have one bottle left from the jaunt to London...think I might have to go suck it down...
for regular consumption though, I go for Bud Light, or Jack Daniels, or both, if I'm feeling risky...
Beer wise, you can't go wrong with a pint of Rickards Red, Moosehead or Sleeman's Honey Brown. All three are fine Canadian beers. I'm also down with Rum and Coke, Gin and Tonic, and whatever booze people are buying me.
shug, we have aftershock in the states. it's like cinnamon schnapps, ain't it? is it the one with the crystals? fav bevvie would be the flaming dr. pepper, take a shot of kahlua and amaretto topped with 151 rum, light it, and drop it into a glass of beer. drink it quick (making sure the flame is extinguished of course) and if mixed properly it tastes like dr. pepper. yummy and it gets the job done!! otherwise bombay sapphire and tonic or captain morgan and coke.

My rocket fuel of choice for a night out is Absolut Citron & tonic & Red Bull. To keep the rally going as the night wears on it's a couple of shots of Goldschlager that does the trick.
I'll suck down most any beer that I can see through one side of the glass to the other. However, I did consume this stuff called "Ruskie" once. It was a Ukranian malt liquor. Oh my.........

after years of denying myself the all-night binge and the pleasant buzz one gets on an empty stomach while trying to fill up on beer, I can honestly say this past year I have had more to drink than my previous 26yrs of existance.
When I am out, a nice 151 punch to get things going, followed by many a vodka and cranberry juice (also known as cape cods, but i hate saying the name cuz it sounds so queer, so i just say "vodka and cranberry please").
When at home, beer does the trick. A nice little Canadian brew called La Fin de Monde gets u buzzin after one bottle. Tsang Tsao is a nice Chinese concoction that is also quiet tasty. THis past weekend had one called Bass. Says its British. Anyone heard of this one? what did ya think? oh yea a regular Bud is quite tasty as well. 
Bass is indeed British (well it may have been bought by a Belgian brewery (not too sure about that, but still is British) and it's distinctive red triangle was the first registered trade mark and appears in Manet's "The bar at the Follies Bergier".
OK, I'll go and get my anorak now.
Oh...and Budvar is far better than budweiser

Aye Aftershock comes in several flavours....the one Brasco had was blue and tasted fuckin awful.....but it was better than not drinking anything at all
How the fuck I made it to work today is a mystery! Speaking of which...it's clocking off time, and I'm gonna have a couple of cold one's the night
It seems I stopped drinking a lot since I finished my engineering degree.. before that it was Molson*.* since it was always the available brand at any party..
And since Canadian beer as higher standards than US beers, it's not bad.
But honestly, I prefer beers done by small breweries.. the only one I really like is Heineken (which is actually brewed by Molson in Canada), other than that mainstream one.. I can drink mostly anything.. but we have some very nice breweries over here, if you ever have the chance to taste any of the Unibroue beers, go ahead ;)

Not too high on anything else than beer & whine though.. I like Bailey's a LOT, like B-52's drinks too ;)
I'm a fan of Grasshopper, Tennents and Steinlagers...especially Steinlagers because of the great taste for relatively cheap price. wheee!

Isn't their a stroy behind La Maudite about sell your soul to the devil? I vaguely remember a friend of telling something like that, but he was a moron and I tended to not listen to him. And you guys have in good in Quesbec. Booze sold at supermarkets/convience stores. I remeber walking into a Provigo and there was someone sampling Long Island Ice Tea. Just imagine if they did that in a Loblaws in Ontario. People would be protesting in the streets.
