Could this mean that they're going to reform and make some new songs together?

inspired by the love of music or the love of money?

Probably a bit of both! :evil4:

Here's what Tom & Martyn have to say on the subject:

Tom Hingley told the NME: "We never promoted the Greatest Hits album because we were never around to do it at the time. This is the chance to play our songs again – songs that the fans haven’t heard for years".

Martyn Walsh added: "We've got some unfinished business to attend to. We were good and we'll prove that nothings changed. I know there'll be a new generation of followers as well as the hardcore fan base that served us well. There will be an edge."

l8rs,

Nick ;)

You can use either of the above. I've also just text'd you my new work email which should be ok from next Monday. I haven't picked up any emails this week as I've been on an induction for my new job and have been electronically challenged.

i saw them back in '92 at the limelight in new york city...it was a good show, but poor tom spent half the show fending off the advances of some extremely annoying drunk chick in the front row who just wouldn't give up.

Just bought a standing ticket for Shep Bush Emp.

Not a massive Carpets fan but quite looking forward to this. Anyone know if Clint Boon is back with the band?. Good solo album - The Clint Boon experience.

With Al J & Mr Disco last night, between us the sum total of Carpets tracks we could list was...3!.

The other one being.....Move. Yes, that's the trio.

Played back this conversation to a mate of mine last night who promptly rattled off a dozen choons before I stopped him.

Would be great if MES guested at SBE. Then again could find the gig postponed due to a 'disagreement' between the musicians.

Nae problemo, as it says on the letter, as you won the video competition a while back, pick stuff from the videology in the Buy / Sell / Trade section and it'll be on its way when you get back from watching England get annialated in the last couple of tests:D
