OK, I'll start by saying it clearly, I've been feeling very smug lately, in fact, I have "the smug look of a toad breakfasting on fat marsh flies".

The reason: On Friday I had our European distributors visiting us and I had to prepare one of this boring powerpoint presentations that one does in between coffe breaks to allow visitors to doze off its way into lunch.

These are the titles of the main slides.

1- Here to Stay.

2- Investment: A means to an end.

3- Our Technique.

4- New Orders: How to get them.

5- Avoiding Confusion with shipments.

6- New Products: An ideal for living.

I know I was pushing it a bit with some of the headings but bear in mind that most of our distributors have got only the flimsiest commands of the English language.

I may have added also that my boss is one of the lowest forms of life known to man and that he manages trhough a combination of Power, Corruption & Lies .

That's funny as Hell. I honestly would have been laughing too hard to pull something like that off. However, I played Ode to Joy and Rocking Carol at work to get everyone in the Christmas spirit... They loathed it.

Quality! I once did something quite similar with a presentation at university on the French monarchy and its relationship with the nation state in the sixteenth century, and was able, without too much difficulty, to slip in numerous New Order track titles, eg Ceremony, Procession, True Faith, SOTN... Struggled a bit with Everything's Gone Green, though.
