I like Shakira. The Sugababes are fabulous. "Escape" by Enrique Iglesias is brilliant. Dire Straits have made a lot of cracking stuff. Abba are Gods of popular music. Def Leppard have made some hugely enjoyable songs. So have Bon Jovi. "Wild Boys" is pish, but I have a soft spot for Duran Duran. "One Of These Nights" by the Eagles - who I have seen live, though in fairness accompanying an Eagles fan - is immense.

I gotta say, sometimes Bob Seger doesn't seem so bad. Sure, most of his stuff's crap, but when you got a choice between listening to him on one station or Michael Bolton on another, your best bet is with Seger

i also like shakira and 'escape' by our enrique. and i've already established my undying love for duran duran. the eagles--done some good stuff ('take it easy' comes to mind). def leppard as well. can't agree with you on bon jovi (except for 'runaway'. good song, that one.), i'm afraid.

bon jovi will never hold a candle to......the scorpions. 'rock you like a hurricane' rocks my world like a hurricane.
