Oh Dear. Um, disturbingly I find I quite liked Kylie's last three singles (well, maybe not the one in the middle so much). Should I seek help?
some Shakira
oh, and I sort of like Christina Aguilara's new song Beautiful. I know, it's sad.
But who knows, maybe now that some of these ex-teen pop stars and boy bands are older and getting laid/drunk/high/depressed on a regular basis, they'll make some decent music.
If we could just hook Barney up with Christina...
"She F*&$ing Hates Me" by Puddle of Mudd (whaddya know, a nu-metal song with a sense of humor!)

Do I smell another "Dancing Queen" fan in the house? (It's okay, we'll work through it together)
something I'm not ASHAMED of particularly, but just found to my liking despite my huge Anglophilia, was the song "I Am A Man Of Constant Sorrow" off of O Brother, Where Art Thou. (but I've probably already mentioned that before)

I do. Why should I be ashamed of this?
*sings*
daaaancing queen, young and sweet! only 17! *ahem*
maybe my love of abba is the fact i'm part swedish.?!
Well, while driving today, and searching through the radio dial, came across some AC/DC, and I didn't turn the dial. Turned up the volume in fact and smiled, in memory of a friend.
crash test dummies. i owned their biggest selling record on cassette (something about god shuffling his feet).
lemonheads. i don't care what people say about evan dando, he writes good pop songs and let's leave it at that.
the kylie's can't get you out of my head is a more recent guilty pleasure.

What is wrong with the Lemonheads? "It's about time" is one of my all time favourites and their take on Mrs. Robinson is far better than the original.
As for musical sins, although my taste is nearly spotless I must admit I like Republic a lot. :o
And I have a soft spot for 80's pop music: Duran Duran, Living in a Box, China Crisis, Woodentops, Eurithmics, The Cure, Johny hates Jazz... I put it down to the eighties being my teenage years.
Oh, and I like Bavarian folk songs (they make me think of lager, huge glasses of lager...)

The Lemonheads have been excellent since Lovey - it's a bit of a shame (about Ray) that ED preferred feeding his nose to writing songs since Car Button Cloth.
I rather like the Sugarbabes. There, I've said it.
Not physically, perish the thought. Which estate did they dredge that lot up from? But I do have a grudging admiration for their choooons (sh*t, I've now got that Round Round thing going, well, round in me head again).

Sugababes are class! ![]()
I like how their dancing consists of pretty much standing in the same spot, looking really grumpy and doing the occasional flick of the wrist.
I wish I'd have been that cool and hard-faced at 16, rather than a gibbering female Kevin the Teenager...
