Which is the best collection of Cure tunes?

Basically I would consider this more a contest between Staring and Galore, because Best Of seems derivitive of both. However, for legal reasons I have to acknowledge the Best Of, and it may very well get the most votes. So have at it (my vote's with Staring at the Sea :evil4: )

standing on the beach / staring at the sea. because it doesn´t have the unnecessary last songs of the cure. it would have been perfect if it had the kiss me era in it too. galore has it, but has the new stuff too, which I can´t stand.

I'd have to say though.. the best of ACOUSTIC disc is a must have...

So if you consider the bonus disc, the Best-of is the best, although it's a useless album since I have everything...

(Well well, New Order copied the Cure in releasing a useless album this year  )

Like I said, the acoustic disc is the only reason to get this..!

i voted for best of, if only for "Cut Here". And unfortunately "A Letter To Elise" is missing. the acoustic bonus-cd is great, i wonder why NewOrder haven't done this...Perfect Kiss acoustic would be brilliant...Stephen hitting real frogs

Staring at the Sea is my choice. That idea of New Order doing an 'Unplugged' though, that could really fly! 'In a Lonely Place' with Bernard on a tin whistle! 'Atmosphere' with Stephen on a Stylaphone!

I think we should start a campaign......

Hooky playing unplugged on Regret :skeptic: ?

Let's say I'd like to see which songs would sound good unplugged.. I know BLT can, since the Frente version is ont bad...

Me thinks the Cure's output didn't deteriorate at all until Wild Mood Swimgs. Wish is up with their best work in my opinion.

I bought both Standing on a beach and Galore at the same time, their both damn good. But im voting for Galore cos its got Lullaby and Fascination Street on it, which tips the balance, and also cos i thought most people would vote for standing on a beach :D (petty i know)

Cheers ALEX
