How many of our British pals had the pleasure of tuning into The Fight last night?
Fuckin hilarious stuff with Ricky "Balboa" Gervais beating "Granite" Grant Bovey.......you call that boxing
Still, for the comedy value alone it was worth watching, espescially after a few beers!
They should arrange loads of these celebrity fights. Maybe the next one could be Hooky versus Vic Reeves:D
You'd have thought they would have had a clue after being trained, but it wasn't even a half decent square go !
I think they were both overrawed when they seen all their mates in the crowd, then it was a case of both of em goin fer a KO blow, which obviously was never gonna happen, my wee cousin Paddy came back from the pub when I had it on, and he said he'd stiffen both of em at the same time
It wasnae pretty to watch....but as I said, it sure was funny:D
Thought it was sooperb, though not entirely sure Gervais deserved it. Shame it couldn't have been called as a draw.
They should have the Olympic boxing system where you see the points coming up on the screen as the punches hit. Mind, doubt this fight would've got past about two point each!!

The judges woulda had to have watched the rounds again in super slowmo......although they did catch each other a few times in the last round. a draw woulda been a fair result
they had this show on in the states a few years ago, with people like tonya harding (the figure skater), danny bonnaduce from the partridge family and other assorted has-beens duking it out. scary stuff!
