Ohio St. wins college American football National Champions

unfuckingbelievable ... the game went exactly like i feared and hoped... utterly bizarre... worthy of a New Order "football" song... Miami isn't a real college anyway, sort of a pro-football community college... (insert one of Barney's "whooos!")

This thread should get moved to the off-topic board, but that was a heckuva game, hats off to the Buckeyes for taking it to the Canes. Only bad part is that I'm gonna have to listen to my buddy from Ohio for the next year or so

winning the national title tonight is just as weird and cool as New Order finally getting a number one hit with a single like "World in Motion"...

could you imagine a soccer team winning the title without really even trying to score a goal, but5 still beating the other team with the offensive stars... sort of like WW1 trench warfare... utterly bizarre...

Bizzare was the Ohio St. QB throwing a pick and then running that guy down and stripping the ball and recovering. The Canes could beat the Bengals but then so could a team made up NOOLer's.

I don't give a fiz-nuck about football, but I had an interest in who won if only because of Jim Rome. His substitute for Friday (Mr. Rome was on vacation) made it a point to predict how badly the Hawkeyes would lose to Miami. Now that Ohio has beaten the odds, it should be fun listening to Rome getting all those phone calls from Ohio State fans....
