Our match with Norwich was abandoned due to floodlight failure, so at least we're in the draw. In the unlikely event that we get through, I expect we'll probably get Farnborough. Brighton have a rich history of losing to non-league opposition.

Lost interest in the FA Cup back in October. We did go top again on Saturday though, with a fine 2-1 win at previous league leaders Tamworth.

Being an Aston Villa fan there is no 4th round for me. They really have been disappointing this year. I don't know that Taylor is the answer. Maybe someone fresh and new can change things at Villa Park.

Was a bit of a poor performance, Van Nistelrooy missed a sitter and as for Silvestre well he missed a couple of glaring sitters!

I heard they were going to come clean last year and just say they arrange all the matches, but they clearly got scared and they still havent said anything this year.

I know its well known, but when the same things happen over and over again why dont they just televise the whole meeting between all the top FA bods when they decide who is playing who and what half the results will be.

Surprise! some joke teams make it through to the 4th round, not too many but enough. This year see Farnborough, Shrewsbury and Dagenham - their so bad they couldnt even force them through first time so they'll try again in a week.

Surprise! The joke teams get plum ties, ignoring Man United who arent in on the gag (they were so upset about one year they were thrown out and packed off to South America for some strange cup) in the fourth round - this basically works well for everyone, end result the F.As favourite teams (the best c o c k neys at the time - Gooners, Rentboys this year) get as good as a bye.

Surprise! A load of dull premiership teams get drawn together to insure half of them bugger off. See Fulham vs Brum, Fulham vs Charlton and that other one too boring to remember.

Surprise! United get a Premiership team. See 1999, when the FA so desperate for them not to do the treble, gave them Boro, Newcastle, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool - bit obvious lads, but it still didnt work. They relented this year and just gave them the best side in the Nationwide first before hitting them with all the Prem teams.
