Well, it's not really the most popular band in here, but one of the Gibb's brothers passed away today.

Since Monaco did a tribute to the Bee Gees with "You Should Be Dancing", I think it was worth mentionning.

Not a big BeeGees fan myself, but it's always sad when someone from the music world dies (hell, it's sad when someone from life in general, whether famous or not, dies). My sympathies to his family....

I grew up listening to the Bee Gees, my mom is a big fan. It is sad to see one of the legends die...

Never been a big fan, but you just have to look at the number of covers and samples of their stuff used to this day to realise they had something special. RIP.

Say what you want about the Bee Gees but they did put out some great material.

Fantastic music in their era and i was very sad to hear this today.53 is SO young especially when you are my age(44) and it makes you want to live each day to the max.So enjoy LIFE whilst you can everyone! :nod: My thoughts go out to all his family.R.I.P. Rocket Mick

Not just Maurice Gibb either - MICKEY FINN - bongo player and percussionist for the legendary T-REX died yesterday as well. That's doubly sad now.

Seem to be dropping like flies all of a sudden - we only lost two more dearly loved musicians last month.

Dave you shouldnt joke, this is a TRAGEDY, at first they thought he had a NIGHT FEVER but in the end he had trouble STAYING ALIVE.

The Gibb brothers are saying that there may be some malpractice involved (how does someone have a cardiac arrest when they've went in for intestinal surgery?), so this may develop into even more of a tragedy.

I've been emailed some jokes about this as well but somehow feel its a bit harsh posting them.

Never a huge fan but certainly appreciate what they did for disco and like it or not there songs are bloody catchy!!
