cd overpricing settlement - real or a scam?

newsitem I mean it sounds like a typical spammers scam, but there appears to be nothing debunking it anywhere on the web.

If it is real, how come it only applies to the US, when cd prices in the UK are way higher? If US cds have been overpriced, UK ones are even more so.

Anyhow it doesn't seem worth bothering with for $20, but if its true it confirms what I've always thought about cd prices.

I give up trying to post.

...I'm just puzzled the only references I've found to it anywhere are ones claiming its genuine. Usually you get stuff on the web debunking these things.

...Anyway, I reckon they owe us a lot more than $20 each, though I suppose all those mp3 downloaders are more than reclaiming it anyway.
