never saw the first. what is the premise? oh wait, that was already explained in the adverts.

never saw the 1st , dont plan on it and definatly not seeing the second one thease horror/supernatural/Thrillers are getting stupider by the decade

I saw the first one...it's OK, but can be missed. If you are looking for some good horror/thriller movies I recommend Donnie Darko or Frailty.

i thought the first one was pretty good, as far as modern MTV-gen horror flicks go. interesting premise.

From my understanding of the plot, if you cheat death then it gets a rain check on finishing the job. Of course, this being a movie, Death wants you right away. He can't sit around and wait for you to get old (Hell must not have enough young people or something). Just crap, really.

The plot sounds like the Omen films, just without Damien. People snuffing it in bizarre, unlikely accidents.

Actually the Omen films were pretty scary, I thought, much more so than the crappy Exorcist. If the Devil exists, thats how he'd operate - via nasty accidents, with plausible deniability.

I could never fear Death after seeing the way he was portrayed on Conan O'Brien one night (it was the usual bogus "cable channels" bit). The poor guy can't get stains out of his cloak, play basketball, or get it on with his girlfriend (all set to "Don't Fear The reaper"). Hi-larious
