I just blew £30 on cds, "disco 3", "turn on the bright lights", and "Gotham!". I realise I'm the only person who actually buys cds anymore, I just hope you're all grateful for me single handedly keeping the music business afloat!
On first listen I really like the Interpol disk, I don't care if they are supposed to be derivative, originality is over-rated anyway.
Disco 3 is EXCELLENT. Haven't heard all the Interpol yet but I DID see a video (PDA?) the other night on one of the VH1s and I liked it.
Don't know what the Gotham cd is, though.

I've been buying CDs like mad... so much so that I unforutatly have to stop for a while. My wish list is huge at the moment!

I received Turn On The Bright Lights yesterday, thanks to the legend that is Old Blue.
Played it twice today, still not hooked yet, couple of promising tracks, I guess the test will be if I'm humming any of the songs when I wake up the morra. I was humming There Goes The Fear and Pounding from The Last Broadcast after I bought that, so I'll give Interpol another few plays before I do any kind of review
