I love the Fall. I hated them for years back in the mid eighties but I think they are fab. Mark E Smith is a godsend ( and thats from a Londoner too. )

Can't always find their newer stuff right away here, and there are all of those bloody compilations out now, but hell yeah, they still rule. Can't imagine not ever listening to 'em, and the single most played tape that I own is a 15-year old C-90 mix tape.

For those of us stateside who care, looks like ol' Mark and his latest crew are venturing across the pond for a few dates, this link is from the Fall website. Haven't seen 'em in over a decade, I'll still forgo most of a good night's sleep in about a week.
i heard they offered a free performance as practise for aforementioned us tour somewhere near me not long ago but were turned down for musical differences reasons!
