Thoroughly deserved too - they are taking cricket to new dimensions of teamwork. Even when struggling in games they still had the depth of character and spirit to come through. Particularly glad for Worcestershire's own (;))Andy Bichel, who's a good lad and was my man of the tournament.

Sure Tendulkar scored the most runs, but as an opener you are bound to get more of the strike. Bichel was not expected to play much of a part in the squad until Gillespie got injured, but he averaged 119 with the bat and picked up 17 wickets at an average of 12 runs per wicket. He also notched a 50 against New Zealand in a game in which they were struggling, and bagged 7 wickets and 34 not out against England in the other game in which they were struggling. When the going got tough, Bichel came through for them. Fair play to him.

Did they show the final in the UK Benny?

Punter's 140no was one of the most incredible innings I've ever seen. Love or hate us, it was elite sport at its best.

Certainly did ! I have the utmost respect for Australian cricket - as a competitor myself, I respect people playing sport to win, but winning fairly. Gilchrist's action in walking in the Semi-final spoke volumes.

without doubt, they are the greatest side in the world in any sport. This world cup saw some good performances mind - Gibbs, Fleming, Sachin, Gilchrist and Bichel, but I think interms of bowling, Lee was outstanding, and if it wasn't for Bevan the Aussies might not have won the tournament
