Finally bought 511 a couple of weeks ago, and just picked up that film about Wilco, I Am Trying To Break Your Heart, with a bunch of extras, but I haven't had time to watch that yet.

Ah...Suspiria. Nothing says lovin' like Argento movies. Last summer I picked up Suspiria, Deep Red, Opera, Tenebre, Phenomena, and Inferno. Good stuff!

Rented recently:

About Schmidt (pretty good) Old School (great in bits and pieces, overall okay)

Ones that I own already:

Hard Day's Night Dr. Strangelove MASH (movie, not the TV show or hardcore porn)

the last films i watched were: the atomic cafe, rashomon, donnie darko, breathless (godard, not the richard gere vehicle!), fast times at ridgemont high, zelig and fitzcarraldo. i now have topsy turvy and the bicycle thief in my possession to watch this weekend. netflix is truly fantastic!

I would get some of the better Woody Allen efforts on DVD if not for the fact there's no extra features (It's like he's not even trying). What else is the DVD format for? :mad2:

Human Traffic - that British movie about Welsh kids going to parties and getting high. Decent, but I still managed to laugh my arse off at John Simms. 24HrPP Gravitation

And the subject of my final paper in English 101....which I have put off typing until tomorrow, a day before it's due! :thumb: (well, we were supposed to do an "arguement" essay that related to our research paper topic, so I can use that as the basic framework for an expanded take. I'm not worried)

Perhaps you should do it whilst impersonating Dr. Strangelove himself (minus the wheelchair, though!)... his mastering of the english language always made me jealous!

"Remixed" Human Traffic? Is that just something over in the UK or can it be found in the US?

Audition, a twisted Japanese romance/serial killer movie directed by Takashi Miike; and Salo, or the 120 Days of Sodom, a superfuckin twisted and depraved Italian movie based on the novel by the Marquis de Sade, directed by Pier Paolo Pasolini.
