To George and Friends, some very good news.

George, what say you on rumours of a new gigantic budget monster movie entitled; Van Hurricane?

The Wolfmale, Dracula the flying GentleMale and even Frankincense are all pencilled in to give Hiskins a thorough run for his olden money belt.

I'm dubious about the project, and after reading that monster enthusiasts are already up in arms about the faux pas that mixing all of the above in real life would be false and rubbish - I' m very keen to see it hit the screens in May 2004. (book your tickets at least 3 days prior to a Friday or Saturday night).

Hugh Jackmale is going to play Peter's Cushions with The WolfMale by Danny Sticks Jr. and The Franking Machine is likely to be created entirely from broken biscuits found on Lucas's shoe horn.

It sounds almost as good as The Lizards take Biscuit Island.

We can only hope.

Went to see that Phone Box film on the weekend it wasn't the worst film I've paid good money to see, probably the shortest though. It's like paying l.p. prices for a 12".

Another randomn thought on the subjct of films. Jurrasic Park - worst film ever? Who's with me?

Police Academy 6: Assignment Miami was a real fizzer. I've seen better film on the back of teeth. It really let down what was a cracking series up to that point.

I confess I lost the trail of the Police Sargents around the time they were evidently off to Russia to kick some 'but-ski'. Are they in double figures yet?

Gigantic Park was an average film with average dinosaurs and an average plot. It could have been so much better. It signalled the start of good computer graphics but bad movie; a tradition excellently withheld today.

Phone Boot looked a bit Colin Ferret heavy, and seemed far too close to the series 25 currently showing on the terrestrial stations. Kevin O'Sunderland blowing kisses down the phone in his gravely voice - not my cup of Bovril me thinks.

Quite vacant this weekend on the movie viewing, managed to snaffle a watch of the Red Dragon film with Anthony Hopkirk and Brian Fines. Another fair outing for the wine lover' tonight I may be eating your wives' etc. - not sure if they shouldn't re-think the next film and have him flying to the moon on the back of a walrus, its possibly the only thing he hasn't yet achieved next to getting shot about 50 times and walking like a healthy rabbit.

Since we're back on films, H, I watched/listened to both director and cast commentary for Donnie Drano. The cast commentary made me appreciate the movie a lot more than the director commentary did.

I recommended, for the second time in the space of only a few hours, Daniel Dumpy to a close pal of mine. I was chastised about it only last night. I no longer give out firm recommendations.

Its good to hear your making some headway though P, my mate intends to locate someone who can tell him what the movie was about. Funnily enough, he played a few extras to see if he could extract some knowledge and let me know his feelings on Daniel Barrymore's collection of fishes who seemed anxious to shout over the best bits during commentary.

I'm still keen on that metal rabbit's mask. I'm probably biased.

Co-incidentally, The Texan Chain Store Mystery was broadcast for the first time on terrestrial television the other night.

The writer/director's view of the film just seemed very programmed and not that interesting. The universe has gotten off track and Donnie has been chosen to set things right. What?

However, I got the Memento DVD and once again enjoyed that a lot.

Do not trust Sammy Jenkis. Hibsty said he did it. And although I can't recall much of the film, I tend to believe him.

Momentary Bibendum is an excellent film. Agreed.

But we have to move on. And on my upper thigh, I have written, 'Momento, you have seen this film. It was smashing. But you must not see it again, instead, seek out new films'. Now reading this I'm not sure if I wrote it or I was tricked? - should I watch it again? - probably.

Either way I never will trust big Sammy J again.

My reference to moving on was in desperation to locate a film 'as good' as M'to. My provoking attitude has upset the apple cart.

I do intend to pick up the Interpole bands album though, but I cannot admit to being open minded. That would be too close minded.

Well, H, it must be like the hidden tracks on Retro. I couldn't find it. The format of the special features disc was a bit irritating. Fortunately there were detailed instructions on how to find the movie itself on disc one.

It is becoming a little tricky just pressing play, your never sure what might happen. And it usually does.

I was keen to see that there were 'over 8 hours of extras' on the 24PP DVD though, I must say. Unfortunately I think I only found about 2 hours, plus the film (which again was helpfully written on to the first diskette).

Maybe it should have read '24Party People, with almost 2 hours 20 mins. of bonus material and not quite 8 hours which we were going to write'.

Perhaps that is too cynical.

Unless 6 hours are hidden somewhere on disk 3 of a two disk set?

You'll have to see if you can find that hidden chrono. section Pasty, otherwise we'll never know who got the 'gal.

I don't know that I have the patience to try all five choices on every question I come across on disc two, on the off chance that a chronological version might appear. Does that mean all the black and white scenes come first?

A friend of mine insists 3 Kings is a good film. Having watched it I thought it was a bit crap. It did not realise whether it intended to excrete fluids of solids. Although the film quality was very novel.

Wasn't Barry Whale Burger lead singer in New Cans on the Shelf? - can't think of a decent song they released but I still really enjoy that 'You are, my du du, the one, desire-urrr' etc. - I think that was another band but they all merge into one.

On a different tack I concede I dig Jelly Timbre Lane. He is the new Michael Jasons.

Marky Mark was most certainly not a new goat on the blank. His brother was. MM had a solo career, consisting of one song. He was actually pretty good in a movie called Fear. I don't consider that Planet of the Apes was his fault.
