who would win in a fight: JD or NO?

This is provided there were clones of Barney, Hooky, and Steve so they could fight for both bands...or something like that. Use your imagination. Hard to call....

Joy Division does have the extra man, but Gillian could fight dirty (and get away with it since she's a woman) and put Ian in a stranglehold (hmm...bad joke) and then JD would be a man down. But if the New Order of today fought Joy Division (of the past, of course), NO would suffer broken hips and strained backs. Besides, Ian's dancing could be like drunken boxing in a fight...them limbs are moving hella fast.

I don't know what's the greater question: who would win, or whether this post is the dumbest ever.

that would be a funny sight. old hooky fighting young hooky and so on. the younger one would go, "ah shit, i look like this when i'm 47?!"

Definitely JD, as they gigged in the punk era, where riots and fights at gigs were the order of the day and because Ian would go off like a wombat on speed. NO's only chance would be to use their heavier keyboards to inflict some damage. Or Barney could scare them off by flashing his tits.

well hooky, barney and steve would be a draw because i suppose the clones would be identical so basically it would boil down to Ian Vs. Gillian in a staring contest, that could go on forever!!!!

Wouldn't they be fighting with themselves, though? "Barney has himself in the head lock and....no, no, he's broken out of his own headlock and is now pulling a submission move on himself. Barney can't take it and is tapping out. And the crowd goes wild as Barney Sumner, that little chap from New Order, has defeated himself by submission......"
