Who are your favorite film directors?

"The man who fell to earth" and "Walkabout" are both favourites of mine.

I would also strongly recommend Werner Herzog. Recently acquired "Aguirre", "Fitzcarraldo", "Herz aus glas", "Woyzeck", "Nosferatu" and "Stroszek" on DVD and they are all superb. A big factor in a lot of Herzog's films is the brilliant Klaus Kinski : the man was a genius. In addition, the superb soundtrack music by Popul Vuh helps a lot with the general atmosphere of the films.
