I must admit I am not the greatest of footie fans but tonight I'm watching the match with some friends. Will the boring Juventus prevail and face the only slightlier less boring Milan for the European Cup?

I don't think so!

Take cover, Huber. A tall slim blonde by the name of Justine who works at our office is heading for Barcelona with 4 female friends this weekend! Do you want me to find out where they are staying?!?!?

Yes, Juventus were terribly boring tonight - a simply awful team. What a shame we won't be treated to Madrid and their hubris in the final.

No kidding Budvar, tonight on one of our local TV stations out of Portland (the NBC affiliate), they ran a 3 minute segment on an Italian restaurant where the entire place was listening to the match over the internet. They had to switch the match off when a customer wanted to use a credit card to pay for their meal, but they were soon connected again, and the end result was a lot of dancing and jumping around by the proprietors as well as the customers. The ace local sports newscaster then gave out a plug for the ManU/Celtic match in Seattle come July. Wouldn't have believed none of it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, but indeed it did. Nice job Colin!!!

Mmmmm Justine...what an interesting name...I have a barby on Saturday but surely could find time for 5 northern gals with lovely accents. Pass them my email if they want a guide for the Barcelona nights. Serious.

Did you receive your CD BTW?

Well, Justine is the name of one of the books of Sade. I have not read it nor am I ever likely to read it but the connection's still there!

CD should be arriving soon. I posted at the same time as some others going to England and the States and most of them have already arrived.

I believe there is a Spanish touring theatre group currently in London acting out some form of depiction of the old Marquis' tales which is extremely pornographic and involves encouraging the audience to participate in the rumpy pumpy on stage. Cant recall the name at the moment but fear it has several XXXs in the title. I wonder if it will get to the Worsley Little Theatre?
