Why the hell are your lasses good at the game and your men are just really, really crap?

And yes you got to the quarter finals, but only 'cause you have a good goalkeeper.

here, 'soccer' is probably more popular as a girls' sport than a boys' sport. in the US the athletic boys, who would normally grow up playing soccer in other countries, are usually channelled into one of the three 'american' sports: basketball, american football or baseball. usually.

on the other hand, a lot of really athletic girls are drawn to soccer, hence our excellence in the women's game.

That's basically what's wrong wrong with America.

which, that our girls are good at soccer or that our boys go for other sports?

or that we aren't a football-loving country? (in which case i may have to agree with you!)

That bit you're agreeing with. Same goes for Australia to a lesser extent.

Lithuania beat Australia at their ground a year or two ago 3-1.....which means Scotland are BETTER than both England and Australia:smoking: I'm with my man G:D

they should make the US national men's team play the women's team and send the winner to the men's world cup next time (if we are in it). We would have done better last time if it hadn't been for that idiot Jeff Agoos and the dumbass coach that put him in. They should also bring in a top notch foreign coach; I mean, winning the USA 'professional' title does not necessarily make one a great coach, as he aptly demonstrated.

you really don't understand what that fat man means when he says...

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL.... GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL ...GOALLLLLLLLLL....GOAL GOAL GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL????

I thought that one was somewhat universal...even a daft twat such as myself gets that one...but then, I did work with all those Mexicans for the last 3 years...so I guess my grasp of that branch of Spainish is a little more advanced than yours!!!!
