Come on Celtic, do SCOTLAND and IRELAND proud the morra night and put us back on the European stage where we belong. It's been a long time in coming, and I cannot put into words how fookin nervous AND excited I am. So come on St Martin, get the lads fired up and take us to Victory.......PLEASE, and if the big man up the stairs is listening 2-0 to Celtic and Larsson scoring first (and his 200th goal for the Tic;) )

I will be watching it with loads of family and friends, and no doubt several beers will be sank, cigars are at the ready.

just checked the news and seen all the celtic fans gathering in a scorching seville...about 90% without tickets..what a party tonight...most will have no hotel rooms or match ticket but will have the mother of all hangovers tomorrow.. the game itself will be a severe test for celtic tomorrow...projected temp for kick-off time is 100 degress..this will not assist celtic whos closing down game and high tempo football will have to be carefully planned.

GOOD LUCK CELTIC

Cheers Paul, the latest on Sky Sports news is that there's gonna be between 70,000 and 90,000 tims in Seville tomorrow, and not the 50 or 60,000 I previously stated.....silly of me! Jimbo - I helped my Uncly John to get a ticket, I can't afford it due to my trip to Yankland with Donnie for Celtic v Man U in Seattle......some times life is a bastard matey:cry:

 Celtic and Porto were both granted just over 15,000 tickets each, but I'm betting there will be a helluva lot more Celtic supporters in the stadium! I have been watching Sky Football extra and the national news - just to gear masel up, according to Trevor MacD on ITV News there are gonna be 80,000 fans in Seville the morra, and 1% of the worlds air travellers tomorrow are gonna be Celtic supporters:clap: I don't need to tell anyone about our wonderful support, you's have heard it all before, but I'm still amazed:lol: One of the fans I saw on an earlier report held up a wee card which read "To all my Bluenose pals....do me a favour and record the Bill.......cos I'm here in Seville"....class in a glass!

the other one going round.....there's gonna be an outbreak of SARS on Thursday in Glasgow... Sad Angry Rangers Supporters Please approach with caution, wearing gloves, masks and SOMBRERO'S:D

There is a bhoy who posts on Splinters. He writes paragraphs of stuff that doesn't seem to make much sense with no punctuation and run-on sentences...kinda like what I just did.

What is a bhoy?

Yeah, best of luck Bhoys. ShugZ: know what you mean about the simultaneous nervous/excited feeling. Last month, day of MUFC/Madrid QF 2nd leg, sitting on a rising wall all day & thought I must be mad; me shitting it & the ones actually facing Madrid probably infinitely more chilled. Football, eh? But would we have it any other way?

Hope Thursday's hangover will be an enjoyable one!

As much as I would love to see this game, there is no way that I'm getting up at 4.15 am tomorrow morning to watch it on TV - I'll just check the score when I get up. Good luck Shuggy!

Keep em coming peeps:beer:

Anita, Celtic were formed in 1888 by an Irish priest (Brother Walfrid) and they used the Irish spelling of that time for the nickname. Lately, all the female Celtic supporters have adapted it for the Ghirls;)

Hopefully yer Celtic top arrives this morning Green Guy - then you'll be like several hundred thousand of us nutters round the world:D

This morning the nerves have gone.....that's probably cos I couldnae sleep, I'm just agitated now:lol:

Got this from my hun mate Freddie, the only Protestant in Coatbridge. You know the tune....

"Tell all the tims that you know, We'll be shagging their wives when they go, They'll be thievin' to eat, They'll sleep on the street, Cos Giros and Euros don't go."

Bastard. 1-0 Celtic, Thomson to score.

Next time, Shug - it won't make you feel any better at this point, but it was a great performance to get to the final and the experience will be invaluable when they reach next year's final. :)
