Keanu Reeves to donate £50 million from Matrix

Keanu Reeves is planning to give away £50 million in profits from the two Matrix sequels.

The actor will donate most of his pay to effects and costume designers who worked on the movies.

He has negotiated a contract which gives him 15% of box office takings for The Matrix Reloaded and its follow-up The Matrix Revolutions.

The two films are expected to pull in about £450 million worldwide - netting Reeves nearly £70 million.

He said: "Money is the last thing I think about. I could live on what I've already made for the next few centuries."

Keanu, who doesn't own a home and lives in hotels, is well-known for his generosity, reports the Daily Mirror.

While filming the sequels in Australia, he surprised 12 stuntmen by giving them Harley-Davidson motorbikes.

i agree with this webpage: http://maddox.xmission.com/matrix2.html that they should've replaced Keanu with a wooden plank with a mean face drawn on it.

For more of Keanu's greatness, I suggest his attempt at a British accent in Bram Stoker's Dracula.

I think Keanu is an ok guy too....but every time I see him in a movie...I cant help having flash backs to Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure....it is very disturbing!

Yes, Keanu seems unable to change his "attitude", when you see him in a movie, he looks the same in each and every movie.. so is Matt Dillon by example...

There are a few people like that, Adam Sandler might be one too. Jim Carrey managed to change this stereotype by doing serious movies.

Mostly, it's because he's always casted for the same type of movies.. same type of guy.. this doesn't help him. I'll have to see "Much Ado About Nothing" again to judge his performance and tell if he can really act.. and he sure did a pretty different acting in Little Buddha.. though I'm not sure he talks in that movie ;) others might be the Devil's Advocate and Dracula..

Unfortunatly, he played the same kind of role on all his "hit" movies, so people thinks he always act the same way!

Keanu Reeves' ass does not need to be seen, ever. Not only do they show you his pasty white ass, they do it in the most contemptible way possible: right after a titty scene. They try to trick you into popping a boner, then WHAM. Keanu's corn hole.

Now that's funny

Keanu lives in hotels? Sure he's not a male prostitute? :jawdrop:

"Whoa, ladies, I'm Keanu. I'll be your plaything tonight." (does the famous "dodging bullets" sequence as old ladies throw dollar bills at him):\pimp:

Well, if he's willing to part with money so easily, perhaps I should try and get in on the action. I'll pose as the "best boy gaffer"...no one knows what the hell they do anyways...

Oi! Wait a fast Hong Kong minute! A friend of mine worked as a gaffer on the third Matrix movie. I should get a piece of Keanu's disposable wealth from her.....

By the way, very funny as always, Trevor. "Whoa, ladies." as though it was the prerequisite greeting.
