Saw that one last year. Great little movie. I'm all for romantic comedies when they're as dark as this one was. Maggie "Donnie Darko's sister" Gyllenhal [sic] did a top notch job, I thought. Angelo Badalamenti did the music too.

rented it a few days ago on DVD. i have yet to watch it, but will probably do so tonight or tomorrow. i've heard good things about it. james spader= ; he went to my high school (many moons before i got there, mind you!) and he still looks tasty as ever.

oh, and isn't jeremy davies, of 'spanking the monkey' and 'saving ryan's privates' fame, in it as well? he sure is a tall drink of water.

Haven't seen this yet, but I hope it'll be a return to form for Mr Spader - sex lies & videotape to Stargate was a big fall indeed.

don't forget Cronenberg's 'Crash.' Spader seems to be fairly typecast into the more pervy roles.

i finally watched it last night and i loved it. i thought it was rather sweet--a love story for the S&M crowd. spader was in top form and maggie gyllenhall was terrific, as well. highly recommended.
