Any Dead Can Dance fans out there?
They're one of my favorite bands--such dreamy, fantastic music. Their self-titled first album and In the Realm of a Dying Sun are simply beautiful from beginning to end, easily my favorite albums by them. Their later stuff I can't get into as much, but some of it is still breathtaking (like "Indus" off 'Spiritchaser').
...and Lisa Gerrard has two new solo albums coming out this year apparently. should be good.
I love Dead Can Dance, They are one of australia's most underrated bands ever. 20+ years ago i saw them live without knowing who the hell they were, but i still remember the beautiful, etheral sounds they produced to this day. If i remember correctly they were supporting The Cure.
I find their stuff too creepy and weird, but I do love the song "The Carnival is Over" from the Into The Labyrinth album.
