Barbados for me in 5 weeks time. Is it worth getting a ferry? West Indies geography not a strong subject with me although West Yorkshire rivers and tributaries, yes. SUNWACD!

tim..i hope you enjoyed antigua..i trust you slurped huge quantities of wadidli...i went 2 years ago and stopped at jolly beach. did you manage to get to st johns and have a look round the cricket ground ??? antigua is very similar to barbados..great locals and very safe to do your own thing. its just shit coming back !!!!

Have come back with serious Wadadli addiction, and several bottles of 151% proof Cavalier !!
Went to Viv Richards's house, sailed round the island, safari through the tropical forest, fantastic time. Spent two whole days in St.Johns (we stayed at the Halcyon Cove on Dickenson Bay) and even bought meself a steel drum, which will feature on the forthcoming Community recordings !

Judging by the sunburnt feet, no I didn't !!!! Very tanned, with small burnt areas on each instep where I forgot the cream for about 10 mins !

tim..did you manage to find that small museum in st johns that holds sir vivs bat...the one he scored 100+ with in the world cup final. amazingly this bat wasnt in a case...just on a stand with a frame explaining the innings etc...there was one security guard who was fast asleep...i was very tempted !!!!

Yeah - bit tatty wasn't it ! I couldn't believe those autographed match programmes just lying there on the tables - anyone could have walked off with them ! His house is pretty normal really, in the Gambles Terrace area, has a bat and stumps incorporated into the gate. Certainly not the flashy pad that some people seem to have on the island !
