this thread is pretty redundant, but i want to see if anyone can find the thread i started on "talk talk" months ago? i wish to continue the discussion.
i can't find it through searching methods but maybe i just can't remember what i titled the thread. any suggestions? :)

Okay Hib, I'll teach you my secrets to search the forums. ;)
There's a bug in the search engine that screws the results if the searched word is followed by a dot, comma or whatever in the threads. To workaround this, always add an asterisk at the end of the word(s).
If you know the name of the poster, type it (the real name or nickname) in the "Search By User Name" field and always select "Match partial name".
If the thread is an old one sort the results by ascending order.
In this example, type "talk*" (without the quotation marks) in the "Search By Keyword" field, "grell" (again, without the quotation marks) in the "Search By User Name" field and select "Match partial name". It's as simple as that.

As for the partial match, this is due to the color codes people put int heir nickname actually...

Oh, I'm so ashamed... Not reporting a software bug to the webmaster just to be the only one who can use the search engine.
