as for the US one, i've heard of only three of them: jules asner (not a newsreader, but on E! entertainment television and, consequently, director steven soderbergh's g-fri), the omnipresent diane sawyer, and paula zahn. whither jane pauley and deborah norville? the lass who reads the BBC world news, mishal husayn, is lovely, as well. didn't notice if she was on there.
and us ladies need a site, as well. NBC's stone phillips is rather fit, as is tom brokaw (even though he's a bit old). as noted in the phobia thread, dan rather is not hot and is utterly terrifying. i must say that british male newscasters are not very good looking in general (which is odd, considering the amount of 'talent' in the UK), although the bloke who reads the business news on the BBC world news late at night on BBC 1 and over here on PBS (patrick something or other, reading from times square) is a hardcore babe. i also have a 'thing' for jon suchet.
