Has anyone else caught this on Comedy Central? Apparently they decided to get in on the "reality TV" bandwagon and put everyone's favorite washed-up actor, Gary Busey, together with a young comedy writer and see what results. Having caught my first full taste of the show, I can say hilarity is the end product.

Gary takes our erstwhile hero, Adam, out in the desert on a "spirit quest" to find what Gary calls "the Magic Indian". Gary is, well, nuts, and we get a full helping of why drugs are bad over the course of the episode, as Mr. Busey subjects his traveling companion to repeated tacklings and seems always on the verge of losing it. I haven't laughed that hard in a good long while. This is one reality show worth watching, sort of like the first season of the Osbournes (when it was all fresh and new, before the fame got to them and the kids started arguing for the benefit of the camera). :thumb:

No, no...it was on tonight, at 10:00 (right before that piece of crap "The Man Show". I can't believe that's still on). I believe there's a repeat at 12:00 EST, don't know if they switch it around for the West Coast (because it's much earlier out there than it is here...see, I learned something from Geography class! :thumb: now if I could just remember where Bulgaria is).

Just checked, yes it's on in about an hour and a half, so I'll take a peek.

'N HEY!!!!! The Man Show isn't all crap, y'know! I've seen a couple of shows, and love the bits where they send this 10 year old boy, dressed as a boy scout, to help "old ladies" (i.e. those who are in their 40's, say) across the street for merit badges, as well as selling beer from a street stand like a kid would normally sell lemonade. Really sophmoric, but it still makes me laugh. :)

I just never cared for the "dynamic duo" of Carolla and Kimmel. It's wierd, I like them well enough apart, but together....well, it just seems like they could've done more than what they did. They're both funny guys, but everytime I've turned it there in the past, it just hasn't held my attention.

Who can forget the scene in Big Wednesday where Mr Busey tries to get out of the Vietnam draft - classic stuff. Unfortunately he spoiled his surf movie cred by blubbering his way through Point Break.
