T3 opinions

I was suprised how excellent the movie was since Cameron did not direct this one, but the writing was funny, the actors were awesome, Arnold is still buff, and the action was awesome. I hope they make a T4 because the ending was left wide open; I just hope it was on purpose to allow for another sequel. I'm thinking of going again to see it. What do you guys think of this movie if you've seen it.

I thought it was decent. I think the acting was pretty good. The new kid didn't bother me like I thought he might have. Claire Danes is still foxy as hell. The crane chase was way better than the freeway sequence in the matrix.

There were some clearly massive plot holes, such as the terminator not remembering kicking it with John during the last movie, yet he doesnt want to kill all those cops and he remembers the visor trick when he's driving in the beginning of the film. There were some other scenes that were kinda far-fetched, but had some passable explanations - 'there's my father's plane! I learned how to fly on it.' Whatever.

I still liked it alot. The fact that I saw it for free might bias me even further, but I still recommend it in terms of summer popcorn fare.

More of a T4 man meself, that June Saprong is lovely :D

Really well made action movie, but doesn't have the emotional depth of the first two. Perhaps Cameron's touch is missing, but it just didn't feel the same. Also, where was that amazing score from the last movie? This one was hardly memorable.

But Arnold rocked, Mr. Stahl was decent, Claire Danes was adorable, and for the T-X... I'd let her terminate me anytime. :D

It's impossible for any movie to match the emotions of the second movie, especially the ending. This movie was a great action comedy; it was just as enjoyable as the previous 2 Terminators

I loved it....much better than the other 2!!!!

shit, it's not being released here until the 24th of July, hopefully catch it in Edinburgh during the hols. Don't give away too much, I'm looking forward to this one.

tristan am guessing you havent seen that many movies if you think the most emotional moments in celluloid history are contained in T2 try its a wonderful life, jean de florette/manon des sources for two(technically three) that thrash the emotional pants of T2.

Yeah, but the special effects in "It's a Wonderful Life" sucked, and...to quote Sideshow Bob..."even the car chase felt tacked on."

I'm sorry but I don't agree; that ending will always stick in my mind, especially since I saw the movie when I was six.

sorry tristan but without wishing to sound patronising you cant just dismiss those films without having seen them! when you're six films have a bigger impact on you as you dont have much to compare them to, but trust me (despite the car chase scene looking like it was tacked on ;) ) these have a far greater emotional depth than T2, which is ostensibly a blockbuster special effects movie. These are plot led films targetted to a different audience & benefit all the more for it. I urge you to seek out some classic films & see for yourself.

Wow, Jean de Florette and Manon of the Spring. Fabulous movies. My wife and I watch them a couple of times a year. I have never run across anyone else who has seen them until now. As for T3, pure cheese, but completely entertaining. I think the pain meds may have had something to do with my enjoyment of the movie though.

Haven't seen T3 yet, but i love the trailer. Instead of Arnie saying "I'll be back" he says "She'll be back". Hilarious.

they are great filums that am sure loads of other people on here have seen - yet to get around to getting the dvds.

there was a series of stella artois adverts in the uk that spoofed the films - the first one even had a barrow of flowers & a depardieu look alike in it!

There must be something wrong with me. I've seen Jean de Florette and Manon of the Spring, but HAVEN't seen T3.

Bad Boys II was a great movie for the testosterone driven side to us all; if you are looking for a sensitive movie do not go see BBII; it is rather gruesome and unnecessarily gory in some parts of the movie

I'm not sure that half the planet's population HAS a testosterone-driven side. Perhaps that's why the studios release films that are labeled "chick flicks."
