I don't know if it has been discussed here before but... did anyone here ever drink Sunkist? How does it taste? Is it good or not?

Just curious... =)

I use to love it when I was a kid. I use to go for the fruit flavored sodas. Orange was my favorite and I thought sunkist that the better brand over Orange Crush.

These days, I don't really like to drink sodas, especially orange sodas. too sweet.

got to agree with Wen on this....it is really more of a kids soda...way to sweet for most adults

I've had Sunkist before, but, honestly, I think Minute Maid and Crush Orange sodas are better. Of course, Pineapple soda and cherry soda are both better than orange soda any day.

I've had apple-flavored Fanta before, but not in a float. It wasn't bad, but it sure doesn't beat Dr. pepper or Pineapple soda.

dr pepper floats are so yummy! even with chocolate ice cream.

I ought to try that at work, since we do make floats. Actually coffee floats - coffee soda and coffee ice cream - aren't bad, you just have to get used to drinking a carbonated coffee-flavored beverage.

do those come with extra caffiene?

I have no idea. I know there's caffeine in the ice cream, but I don't know about the syrup used for the sodas. Now, a Coke/Dr. Pepper float with coffee ice cream would have a lot of caffeine. :jump2:

once, while hanging out in california's inland empire, i had a very bizzare drink. i don't know what it was called but it involved espresso, coke and ice. hot-damn, that thing had me twitchin'!!

i'd never seen any drink like this before, so i assume it is the inland empire gateway drink for aspiring tweek-o's. (there is a lot of meth up there). do you have anything like this back there?

I have no idea. But, once, my mother bought a powdered drink called "Fast lane" that was a mixture of black tea and powdered expresso. When I was 14, since I started to really get into drinking caffinated stuff for the effect, I made myself a cup and couldn't stop shaking for 4 hours. After that, I just stuck to regular coffee and coke.

But, to stay on topic, did you know that Sunkist orange soda actually has caffeine in it?

i do now :D

i never feel the effects of caffiene from drinking soda. maybe it is psychological?
