....is pissing gallantly on your head and laughing at you in a mad unhinged manner because you have the audacity to moan and whinge at too many stoopid dumb ass threads and yet by the very act of moaning at these stoopid dumb ass threads you inadvertedly invite even more ridicule from those who instigate these stoopid dumb ass threads.

Phew - glad I got that one off my chest...

Can me and my wife take our dogs out for a walk now? It's fucking scorching stuck inside here today ...... :p

Ey Up Rockster! Just to say that we REALLY DO take our dogs out for the usual midnight stroll through the tranquil wooded environs of Bollington, near the canal side, on nights like these it's wonderful just staying out as long as we can - but the only problem is, EVERYONE ELSE has exactly the same plan and the place gets surprisingly rather crowded. Bloody hell - human beings, eh?! There's just too many of them about, in't there???

;)

get yourself a pitbull - that should clear some of the crowds

Pitbulls are SOOOOOO fucking "English" - didn't you realize? And for me - a Manx by birth (though not of dialect) - to even THINK about adopting such ugly brutes (ugly - rather like the English....hee hee hee) - like 99.999 per cent of the unsightly scally boneheads that I see all over the place whenever we go out in Macclesfield, Knutsford, Crewe, Northwich, Wilmslow, etc. - would be akin to me pretending to be a Man United fan just cos everybody else likes them......

On the other hand, fully grown Irish Wolfhounds..... NOW we're talking REAL CLASS ...... ;)

Hey, at least you haven't had 100 degree weather, in July it was almost 100 degrees every day here in Chatsworth, it's cooler now; it only gets to about 90 degrees

hey you don't have the humidity and pollution of the San Fernando Valley, but I do sympathize with you, I've spent summers in Vegas when it was ridiculously blazing hot

Yeah, I forgot about the humidity...How do you cope? :(

I go to the pool, but the good thing is that it cools down pretty well at night, but otherwise it is usually blistering here, but today, and the past week, it's ok

Summer's been kind of a bust around here, weather-wise: Too many days of start-and-stop rain, followed by hours of humidity. Then again, August is always the hottest month, so I'll be drinking plenty of Gatorade and water (sounds like a disgusting cocktail, but I meant seperately ingest the two)

wears spurs. OUCHIE!!!

we've had a lot of rain in Ohia(sic) but when it hasn't rained it's been pretty decent, moderate temp and humidity. which works well for me as i only have A/C in the bedroom. usually in august it's hot and ungodly humid here.

It was so hot there were UFOs spotted over Gloucester the other day.

Could this have anything to do with the freak temperatures? Even our roads and railways have melted - apparently, if the news is to be believed!

I seek refuge in the woods nearby where there are a few decent and relatively untarnished streams for our dogs to splash around and cool off in. :)
