The Lame Band Name Game

here are the rules: one person says the name for a crappy band that people find humorous. (for example: winger.) the next person has to come up with another lame band who's name begins with the last letter of the previous band. (in the case of "winger," the following person could say "ratt.") every subsequent post must have a band name that begins with the last letter of the previous poster's band, and you cannot repeat bands. (also when using bands names like "the sex pistols," they are filed under "s" in record stores, and so they get used as an S, not a T) also, to make sure that no one is cheating you must post the URL for the band's website, or some sort of article verifying the band's existence. (this will also allow everyone else to see how bad some of these band's are.)

I think it's a very good name! Used to love the Soup Dragons, I think the name came from a Kid's TV program but not sure, can someone help?

Oh come on Jan, Hunters and Collectors were a great band in their day, remember "The Slab (or Betty's worry)" great stuff. On the other hand Mark Seymour's solo stuff sucks big time, and they were fantastic live. Oh, hang on their name does stink.

The Soup dragons lived in the same area as the clangers - from the kids show "The Clangers"

Alright, this is Jeff Connolly's, from Boston, first band, DMZ , and then he went on to form the Lyres. Jeff is truly one of the most manic performers ever, their major label debut came out on Sire, right when NEW WAVE was being pushed, so this garage-rock gem got lost in the shuffle big time. Brilliant originals like Mighty Idy, plus a smoking cover of the Sonics' Cinderella, though Jeff doesn't scream quite like Gerry Roslie did.
