If any of you are looking for something new to listen to, check out the self titled LP by Longwave. It has quite a unique and interesting sound to it.

I'll second this..

i read on a board somewhere that longwave are u2 to interpol's joy division - if you want to borrow an analogy. but in short: i really like the vocals, good melodies, engaging tunes. nothing monumental or visionary, just some good songs.

i don't have the s/t, just the new one, and it is still really good. however, i fail to see the U2.

Sorry for the confusion. The album I'm referring to is their new one. Its not self titled. The correct title is "The Strangest Things."

the album is really good, you could almost say it's "got me by the balls" (track5?) :thumb:

Slight mistake in the spelling there... the band you really want to listen to is Longview.

Ew no, Longview are dull, like every melancholy indie band rolled into one. Seenem live, I felt sorry for them!

I quite liked Longwave when I heard Exit and the single after, but the album gets a bit boring after the halfway mark.
