Most important thing to add is the date when tickets will be on sale.
If anybody in this area, it's time to call the venue and ask! If anybody can get the contact information of the guy promoting the gig, we could try to get some kind of pre-sale for NOOLers..
I like to dream, I know... but damn it, if there is one thing this website can do, it's time to proove it.. I got all kind of stuff for other band's concerts, I have hopes it will work for the real thing too.

Nothing showing up on ticketmaster (who handles most events in the bay area).
I have emailed the "booking manager" for the Kaiser to inquire about tickets...I'll let everyone know as soon as I hear back.
What is starting to scare me is that with my new job...if it isn't a Friday or Saturday night gig within driving distance, I probably won't be able to make it...
unless I win the lottery soon!!!

Any news on whether there will be additional southern California dates other than Coachella? We got screwed during the Get Ready tour when they only played Glen Helen out in the boonies on Moby's festival tour. PLEASE play at least one non-festival show in southern California....I implore you. How about Universal Amphitheater or Verizon Amphitheater?

Greg - I believe the Coachella promoters have an exclusivity right in their contract with NO, which prevents the band from playing anywhere else in the vicinity around the same time. This is gonna rule out any Socal gigs on this trip to the States.
I can kinda understand it, the promoters will have paid out a lot of cash to get this Festival ready and to entice bands like NO to play. The last thing they want is all Socal based fans to shun their Festival in favour of another NO gig down the road.
As Nic says, at least you gotta gig on the Get Ready tour. Only ONE other State in the US could make the same claim.
Get yerself down to Coachella and see a load of other great bands at the same time.
Hey, I'm from Chicago and I read last week (last week of Feb) that Hooky said they'd come to Chicago and Detroit? I MUST make the Chicago show. I've never seen them live and I fear that there arent many other opportunities left like this! Does anyone know the first place to look for tickets? I missed the U2 sales for their tour and just feel awful that I cant find tickes to see them.
And yes, the NOOL inside offer for gig news and tickets would be great!

However, nobody declined anything from the band management to the label, they just "don't know yet"...
And the promotion company behind the Oakland gig said to me:
"We prob aren't the only date in the US, but for our press purposes, we are the only non Coachella date on the West Coast."

Warners Marketing Dept don't tell NO where to play. If they did, NO would be playing a lot more gigs this year than they are. Proper UK tour, more gigs in the US etc
NO alone decide what they will and won't do. In 2005 they've got different priorities than they had in 1985 and dragging their arses around the Europe or the States isn't that appealing to them, if it ever was.
Given that they don't wanna be away from home too much but still promote the album as best they can, playing Festivals is the best solution.

Totally agree with you there. I was holding out to buy my ticket(s), get a train and book a hotel (or hostel) then enjoy a two nights of New Order-ness somewhere in our tiny (but 'great' lol) island just as I did in 2001. The band have screwed up here. Not everyone can get tickets for festivals in time or at all. Even compared to five years ago and thanks to the Internet they sell out in a nanosecond. Oh well not much can be done if they really have ruled out a UK jaunt. I can't make it anywhere abroad for the forseeable few months thanks to my degree finishing, lack of funds etc as much as I'd love to. (I need a sand'n'sea holiday anyway) I do understand the band could never please the entire planet in their gigging plans but a handful of dates in the UK (even 3 - London, Manchester, Glasgow) would've been great. I'm surprised the management don't realise how important UK promotion is in continuing that the band makes records. Certainly no offence to other countries that is, but WTFSC's chart strength and potential for another album is based on the UK first and foremost.

Yeah, and I am happy for the US folk. Fair dos, they were pretty badly ignored last time and I hope they enjoy 'em! ;) But the complete lack of UK gigs (festivals don't count) is awful and a bad move on the band's part. Three gigs in the cities I mentioned is not too much to ask considering we (the UK fanbase) buy their records and "push them further up the charts" kinda thing. As a fan who cannot make it abroad nor can get hands on certain festival tickets (I'm sure there are more than me in this boat) the lack of even a few domestic gigs when alot of other countries seem to be getting them is a pisstake
I'm just hoping the band haven't gone all snobby and "only see fit" to play UK festivals now rather than put in some effort and plan their own gigs. Sitting backstage being pampered, eating Salmon on brown bread and hob-nobbing with younger bands who quip "Hey you guys, we totally dig your Blue Sunday mannnnnnn" is all very well, but it means alot of us loyal fans miss out due to the festival rush. Alot of people here really make the effort to see NO abroad and I admire them for that; they must have a fantastic time. Personally I'm only really bothered travelling within the UK at this particular moment in time (that will change though), and even then travelling the length of the country and forking out 300 for an ebay festival ticket is an obvious pain in the arse. I'm personally pretty disappointed I can't book a reasonably priced ticket and hop on a train to see a UK Manchester based band that have just released a fantastic new album.
Moan over. Hopefully they will have reversed this unpopular touring decision for the new album in 2006.... that is, if they stick to that release date which I really doubt (Not being cynical, just realistic going on past New Order release date disasters).

Ally, as a loyal fan, what are your excuses for not making Hyde Park then, as I assume you're not going from what I've read above?
It's hardly a 'festival', per se, is it, and tickets are still widely available. Surely that's the London gig you say they should be doing? (Er, and are?). It's slap-bang in the middle the the English capital; you couldn't get a more pleasant outdoor surrouding and there won't be a tent or dog-on-string in sight. There's plenty of cheap flights from your neck of the woods otherwise the train's only a 4hr journey. Tickets are but 35 notes a pop (you can barely watch Premiership football for that and New Order at Brixton a whole 4 years back was only a few quid cheaper). And, the biggest plus, is that we'll have - what? - 50+ posters (MIN-I-MUM) in attendance from this site itself. Oh, and you'll also get Moby. Actually, no, scratch that last point.

I didn't mean "loyal fan" in the nauseating sense but I do (as many others here do more than me probably) keep an active track of their records/news etc. and so I thought some sort of gig in Scotland wouldn't be that much out of the question. You do have a point Al, I heard somewhere (can't remember where) that Hyde park was sold out but I asked Nick King earlier and apparently they're not so I'll be trying to get my hands on a few tickets and hopefully that will come off. I generally have a trip to London each summer to see my brother who lives in "sarf Lahndahn" 
so I'm hoping I can make it. Part of the reason I'm so pissed off at the lack of domestic gigs was that I really love this new album! With the Get Ready gigs (my first NO ones) it was more a case of "seeing the band for the first time" but I thought alot of the GR stuff they played was pretty average. Whereas with WFTSC I can't wait to hear some of these songs live (+ the classics of course!)

Yes, it is surprising that they aren't doing a few more UK 'proper' gigs, especially in their home town. I haven't ruled out that they might play again this year.
Barney might change his mind. I reckon he's put his foot down as they're pretty busy between now and July, they're taking August off to be with their families and that gives him a good opportunity to review how he feels and see if more gigs from Sep onwards takes his fancy.
Btw, this is complete speculation on my part and not based on any fact whatsoever.
We might hear more in August/Sep. Then again, we might not ;)
hey. who watched the boys play on jimmy kimmel live. o man that was awesome. for those who didnt see it, they played krafty, and were really fun to watch. and then they played love will tear us apart and dedicated it to Ian... RIP Ian. it was an awesome show, i feel sorry for you guys who missed out
and im waiting for the boys to play a gig or something, anything down here in texas where i live. id drive as far as id have to to see them, new york is just kinda freakin far as hell. but i guess ill be waiting for a while

Those two gigs were in 2001.
