I Need a Ride from San Francisco to Palm Springs after the NewOrder show

Who is driving from SF to Coachella after the New Order show? One-way flights within California are $39 with 14day advance purchase. I've already bought my plane tix to Palm Springs the morning of the 29th but i'm tempted to just get back on a plane to SF that same morning and return after the show in Oakland. Who's driving, is there space, i can help drive and pay for gas.

no, i'm just looking into other transportation ops. At this point, i'm stil driving from Palm Springs to Oakland but i'd prefer to fly since the flights are so cheap.

I was going to drive, but I just dont think I will make it to Oakland in time, from Palm Springs leaving at 2:00pm. So I think I'm going to fly. to San Fran and just rent a car from there.

But I do have a question, were can you book flights for 39.00 each way? PSP=SFO

I just wish tickets would go on sale, as I dont want to get plane tickets until I have a concert ticket. And speaking of concert tickets, I finally got my Coachella ticket yesturday. It took almost a month to come.

I'm making the drive, and I should have room.

IF the Oakland show happens, and IF I get tickets, and IF I don't have to work.....

OK. David, i need to find out if you/we can change our flights from Seattle to San Fran, then we can hop a one-way to Palm Springs. This is a logistical nightmare and tickets haven't even gone on sale. I think i'm getting dizzy trying to figure out the quickest/cheapest method.

Who was it that said "New Order won't play the States, they've got not fans there and when they did play no one showed up"? I'm so pissed that i bought tix to Coachella when i could have done SF and Chicago for less than or equal to the amount i'm spending for Coachella. Fucking Know-it-all OLD SCH(F)OOLERS.

I enjoyed my first New Order gig in 2001. I plan on enjoying both the Coachella and Oakland shows...especially looking forward to seeing them at a Club, rather than festival.

My boyfriend and I are driving to Ontario, California (outside of LA) and flying up to Oakland the day of the show up there. The next morning we are flying early morning back to Ontario and driving the 1 and a half hour to Coachella.

Certainly hope something regarding that is announced PDQ, I'm taking a leisurely train trip down south, and I'm leaving on the 27th. Pretty sure I could push the date back one day, but I can see why Brian's getting a bit frazzled.......
