New Order & QOTSA join OXEGEN bill New Order and Queens of the Stone Age are the latest bands announced for this year's OXEGEN festival in Co Kildare.

They join headliners Green Day and the Foo Fighters and James Brown, the Frames, The Streets and The Killers on the bill for the festival, which takes place at Punchestown Racecourse, Naas, Co Kildare on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 July 2005, subject to licence.

Tickets for OXEGEN are priced €64.50 for one day, €120.00 for two days and €145.00 for two days including camping.

Both New Order and Queens of the Stone Age will release their new albums, 'Waiting for the Sirens Call' and 'Lullabies To Paralyze' at the end of March.

Question is, does Tom Atencio has anything to do with New Order these days?

He would be the person to contact to have information then... however, Reprise has started to ignore my emails for some reason, so I'll send them mail AGAIN and see what happens...

Ticket ordered.:thumb: Dads credit card as my laser card is skinted ATM, means I'll have James rather than Cian on the ticket but I can use my usual excuse if questioned about it that James is the handed down family name and I don't like using it...

Just Sunday ATM, will probably add Saturday later though but I usually need a day before to get into the right frame of mind - e.g. completely high on caffeine and bouncing off the walls :evil4:
