Has anyone heard if New Order is going to be making any appearances here up in the Great White North. They haven't been in these parts in quite a few years and I'd love to see them.

5th city? c'mon, it's not that bigger city than Montréal as far as I know... maybe the merge a few years ago helped, but still...
Besides, after stealing all of Canada's financial institutions from Montreal, and God knows what else, and giving absolutely no support to Montreal when the Expos left town, why should you have anything more ?

Saw them in Toronto on the Technique tour at Exhibition Stadium in 1989 and the Republic tour at Kingswood in 1993. Was gutted them skipped the east coast for Area One but I think someone posted an article on the board which mentioned a larger NA tour this time.
You have as much of a chance of them coming to Toronto as Montreal does 
If you count all the cities attached to Toronto, yea Toronto is big. If you count Land wise Montreal is bigger. I think Calgary is bigger land wise as well. But alot less people here! Thats why we have nice big yards!

Well, Montréal is an island, so we can't cheat on our land size, isn't it?
But our big merged town will be splitted in parts quite soon because the current gouvernment decided to ask the population, so...
But it's true that Montreal lost its title of #1 city in Canada in the, what, 80s? to Toronto... for the wrong reasons of course, but what will you do about it anyways...
At least I saw the Order in Toronto in '93 ;)
I see your point about where you are from. I'm fairly fortunate from the concert point to live in bigger cities where bands almost always make a stop, first being NYC where I grew up and lived til last May and now Los Angeles, which I can't wait to get the hell out of!
