I'm going to Coachella - I bought a ticket. But at the same time I'm in the middle of nowhere... Here I calculated something:

100 - Coachella Ticket (purchased) 250 - Air ticket (from Dallas) + car rent at LA 100 - Cash deposit at the car rent place. 50 - Gas from LA to Coachella and back. + 120 - Car rent to get to Dallas (3 days) 50 - Gas from my place to Dallas and back. + 50 - Food & miscellaneous.

In total: $ 720 (well, with minus $100 for rent deposit = $ 620). I'm not even thinking of getting a motel.

Now I wonder who else pays $ 720 to go to a New Order concert? And that's behind the fact that my monthly salary totals $ 800.

So I don't know if by the end of April I'll make it. I really wish New Order would be coming to Texas! If I were still in Europe, it'd be much easier to catch them there. I'm in a strange mood now...

Hmm maybe you can just sell back the Coachella ticket for a bit under cost on eBay and go to the Oakland show instead. It'll be cheaper, less hassles to put up with while there, and a much more intimate experience.

Er, some of us are flying in from England and doing all four gigs. Bit more than $720, I can tell you!

Still, it's nice to see an American prepared to venture outside of his own state! :evil4:

Coachella and back for $720? You don't know how lucky you are! If I do all four I won't see much change from two grand.

Yea I'm paying around 700.00 as well. But I got free airfare, but I'm getting a hotel. Plus I'm going to pay another 400.00 to goto Oakland, so I will be paying this off all Summer Long!

I know, Al, you're coming over here from England and I don't know what to say... That's great. I'm trying my best.
