The file is over 800 Meg. To listen to it, you need a free plug-in for WinAmp, or something that can play FLAC file format.

If I am asked to stop distributing it, I will. Not wanting to get into trouble.

Tried to add you said you didn't exist.

Not that good with torrent technology yet, so I don't know if you can pass the .torrent to anyone like that.

anyone explain the torrent technology??? i have received an email with the file attached. i have downloaded the torrent software to my hardrive.

so i have the file attached to an email which is hotmail.

can anyone provide step by step instructions for this obviously challenged englishman.

im dying to listen to the concert again! appreciate any help anyone can offer.

Here are my pictures of the Chicago show, those who didn't come up bad... I wasn't really prepared because I didn't know we were not allowed to use flash, so they didn't come up that good, I got my camera better in New York.

You can see other in the concert browser under the Chicago show, especially WenOrder's ones.

You get BitTorrent or any other bittorrent clients you want, you install it.

Open the .torrent file you have with it, and select a download folder, and you're done.

The torrent will connect to the person "hosting" the torrent (called seeder if I got it right) and that person will dispatch the "bits" from all people connected to it, so basically, you get the data from all people connected to the torrent and you send those you already have as well.

Works perfectly fine...

Hey Cotch - how's the teeth? (I needed the Derby County post to remind which of you as which)

If you have Bit Torrent downloaded amd installed, you should be able to click on the link and then it will open Bit Torrent to seek anyone else on the web who has their Bit Torrent open with the same file. It will start to download and, when you have some to share, it will simultaneously upload for other users (don't worry, it's quite safe). Expect several hours (perhaps overnight) and the rates will depend on how many users are uploading. Much, much longer if you're on dial-up. When your download is complete it is considered polite to keep you Torrent open for others to upload (you are then "seeding").

The result should be a folder full of .WAV files that you can burn straight to CD.

It's worth it, the recording's pretty good.

Colin

EDIT - Nic put that up while I was writing, I don't think we disagree...

Thanks Spotters and Colin. It's loading at a fair pace as I write, says will take less than an hour (averaging around 200 KB/s). The tooth thing isn't a big deal, stems from an incident with a cricket ball and then a follow up "shoeing" in Ibiza years ago. Unfortunately chose to rear its head, right at kick off last tuesday night. Oh well can be sorted no problem. Thanks for all the help. (45 minutes and counting....) cotch

Just got back from an extended business trip to Sweet Home Chicago to discover I missed the New Order show at the Aragon. I am utterly crushed....

I have just missed out what should have been a major life event. I must be paying some kind of Karmic debt, I think...

Utterly Crushed,

I've transferred it to several people now via Microsoft Messenger. A whole lot faster. My offer still stands, just add me. If you have Windows, you have Messenger.

Wondered what you'd dropped. We thought a contact lense had gone missing!

"Shoeing" - a word not oft used on these sites! :bow2:

the Dimeadozen.org site is difficult to get into...they only allow 100,000 registered users and they never seem to be below 100.001 users.

I have a gmail account with over 2.1 gb of space...so if someone could send the gig..that would be great!!!

If I can get the internet at my apartment to work, I'm on soulseek, but AIM would be faster if you have it.

Would anyone be willing to snail mail me the show or allow me to download it? I would be extremely grateful.

Thanks, John

I am mildly irritated that the photographer is calling this a reunion tour. A band has to break up before they can reunite.

The best photos of the concert though. Hey Drugrep see you in O-town soon. Davo
