Sorry dude, but 60mph is a great track and Brutal is also quite good. Mr. Disco on the other hand - wish that was never played again. Sounds SO dated, man. They ain't the PSB !

True, but they're still pretty good.

Ah come on on, at least show some courtesy miserable old bastards.

Yes you're right in some ways kcspurs, we didn't really need brutal at Finsbury but the band just felt like playing it. And i'm all for songs off Technique including Mr. Disco which will most probably never be played live again.

Aw come on Mr. Disco has soooo much lift to it. Technique's a killer. And whats wrong with playing a dated track? It's good to laugh a bit you know. We're all taking ourselves too serious to take.

I do, was bloody great when they opened with it at Glasgow SECC in 89 :thumb:

Totally agree, DM, - was at SECC that night and NEC the following night ( sleeping in the back of the car at a little chef on the M6 between the two ) - a lot of the direction they were trying to push into on Technique  - Mr Disco, Vanishing Point etc. hooked into and embraced what was happenning at the time outside of a stagnant indie scene - from personal experience I spent most of '88-'89 on the road with the Mondays 'e'-ed off the planet - and it made perfect sense to me!! - SECC was a crap venue, though...

I want to hear Primitive Notion and Dream Attack.

I would love to hear "Hear to Stay" and "Leave Me Alone". Hell, I'm just thrilled to be seeing them and am not going to cry about what was or was not played.

Wolfram , i also did the NEC the following night.

My mate went to the bar and asked for " Two Pints of lager", the Bar Tender replied " We only have Orange Juice", to which my mate said " Orange Juice, that's like having JUNIOR DISPRIN at a Hwakwind gig"
