Does anyone know if New Order are planning any indoor gigs in the UK this year (around London) - I'm not too keen on going to outdoor festivals (like to keep my shoes clean and don't trust the Great Brittania weather)
Any Indoor Gigs?

It doesn't matter what the building is made of as long as it's indoors.

Don't worry about your clothes and footwear mate.Have a drink and relax with THE MAD NOOL's.May make an appearence here and there but don't want to get my HAIR wet!
I too am not keen on potentially forking out 110 quid (+ expenses) to
see New Order at T in the Park this year rather than just paying 30
quid and probably the same amount again for a few rounds of drinks at a
great indoor gig. The extra special bonus there being I get to
sleep in my own bed afterwards and not a field! The band love
festivals because
they are in the backstage bit sipping champers and having chummy chats
with Michael Eavis or Keith Allen or whoever, not with us camping in
mud and queuing for four hours to get a half defrosted hot dog.
Don't give me any of that "festival romanticisms" of the fact that it's
so shit, it's good
either.
If they don't do any indoor gigs this time around then that's piss-poor, I
mean pull the finger out lads. They probably will though, it
would be promotional suicide not to. (Then again, this is New Order we're talking about here
)
Ally.
a residence at brixton academy again would be awesome, but i dont see it happening
still as digi mike said, there are rumours...![]()
I would love to see them play in a smaller venue in the UK but who knows if it will happen. Fingers crossed they do something later in the year after the festivals and stuff are out of the way. I've only seen New Order live once (Finsbury Park 2002) and, although i'm really looking forward to Hyde Park this summer, it would still be nice to see them do something smaller :)
