Poll: Will New Order tour the states?

I wouldn't risk it Chris. It doesn't look like they'll be touring UK/Europe never mind the States.
yeah man dont waste your time. nevermind all those rumors about oakland and coachella and chicago and NYC.![]()
I remember in 2001, I was sure they would tour on the east coast, and I missed everything... so this time I'm not taking any chances...
New Order don't "tour" anymore.. they do festivals... they will probably tour in the UK but I doubt they will tour alone in any other places, so those 3 dates in the USA (plus Coachella) are pretty what is likely to get.
I expect them to do the festival tour again next year however... but who knows if they will be getting here..
How many dates do people consider a 'tour'?
They are indeed touring the States in April/May, albeit a mini-tour of just 4 dates.

I'd consider a "tour" something New Order will never done... 100+ shows to promote one album... ;)
Of course, playing all major cities in North America would be considered a tour, even playing half of them...
Hence why people asked me to remove the "tour" grouping option of the concert browser ;)
While I truly hope they do a tour, I highly doubt it. I wish they'd at least consider throwing in a few more stops in April/May in North America to hit the NW/SE corners. Maybe start in Seattle/Portland/Vancouver on April 27th, make another stop in Florida in May?
I'm surprised they aren't hooking up with the Chemical Brothers for their Seattle date right before Oakland. Perhaps they have something planned in England (or Japan, like in 2001) for the days leading up to the California shows.
