Anyone from Dallas going to the Chicago show?

I'm thinking about heading up to Chicago for the New Order show.  And I'm trying to figure out the best way to go.  I was just wondering how other people from the area were heading up there.

Also, what are the chances of New Order playing at a closer venue to Dallas either this or next year you think?

If I go, I'll probably fly.  Tickets seem to be at a pretty good price.

I'd fly too if I was from Texas.  Must be about a 24 hour drive.

Don't hold your breath on this one...

Never heard anything out of what is announced just yet, and I don't think Al Jarvis & Johnny Giles reserve any other flights, and usually, you can pretty much guess from their agenda ;)

So, as a brit would say, "get your arse to Chicago" ;) and attend the first NewOrderOnline party!

Bummer, Jeff, having to work and all.  Remember work will always exist after New Order comes through but New Order may never return.

I'd trade the Chicago & NYC show for Oakland though...

I believe this one will be special... and I have no idea who will be the support in Chicago and NYC yet!

Well, that makes me feel a bit better Nick, but I'm still a bit baffled by the fact that tix for NO and the Chems are 40 dollars plus fees, a bit over 50 all told.  Wonder what they'd be charging for a similar show in Chicago or NY.

Actually, I was wondering if both the Chems and NO played together in those cities, if the promoters would charge more than the 47 dollars.

I am coming from San Antonio. I am hoping to get a flight str8 thru (cuz i reaaallly hate flying, makes me sick, want as few landings/takeoffs as possible), but i may have to make a stopover in DFW.

Right now it looks like tickets will be around $220-$270 round trip, on United I think.

If I were you, I'd seriously consider the NYC trip, it will make the trip worth the money a little more...
