It just thought that the green T-shirt looks better when somebody is actually wearing it and the huge avatar is there to prove my point!!! :D

That was taken when 'The Streets' were playing on the main stage in the background - you can see not many people were interested in seeing them! The sound really was far better for the Ticket stage anyway.

The Streets were terrible anyway! I would prefer better sound when the Killers were on, but what can you do? You're right, the ticket stage had better sound, but even if it didn't, we wouldn't pay that much attention to that part of the gig, would we? :D

Right, here are Martha's photos:

Oxegen 2005

Note the conclusive proof that the sun does sometimes shine in Ireland:D

(the last pic is actually of the Greek Order back in Greece - drowning their sorrows, because they had to go home

Someone got impatient, eh? :D It's true about the last one, we did some pretty serious drowning of our sorrows that night!;)

Yeah, we get a lot of that ' Ireland - thats in London, right?' kind of stuff around here - normally from Americans (USA!) who can't name their 50 states. Then again, I doubt that I could name all of the EU states, so I shouldn't slag anyone off. Hope you enjoy Olympiada (ef said you are going there tomorrow). Olympiada - thats near Athens, Georgia, isn't it?

I could name all EU states till last year, but then there were only 15 of them :P

Yes, we're finally going to spend some "quality" time by the beach in Olympiada - HOORAY for holidays!!! :D So now with all the spare time I'll have, I suppose I could look up where this Athens, Georgia place is :evil4:

I'm mostly embarresed 'cause I did Geography in college (years ago!) & I should know where countries are. But if you drew a line north from yourselves to Scandinavia I couldn't name most of the countries inbetween - actually, after FYR Macedinia i'm lost!

Don't worry about it, most people can't name all the countries in Europe (there are too many of them now!), but the thing is that Europe is not your country, it's the continent our countries are in, so it's not the same thing as not being able to name all the states or areas or whatever of your own country. Anyway, lots of people do the same mistake about England. They even tend to call Scotch and Welsh people English! British is ok, I guess, but English...

Thanks to MYOB for the heads up on this one. 2FM are broadcasting the NO Oxegen set this coming Sunday at 8pm local time. Heres the link

2FM - RTE radio Oh yes, NOOL gets a mention, as usual:D

Now, who can transfer this one to CD??? - I NEED a copy of this

I'll see what I can do for you. What you reckon will be best, the webcast or the radio feed on sky digital?

192Kbps (IIRC) MPEG 1 Layer 2 off Astra or 32Kbps RealMedia over the web... which do you think is going to be cleaner and more reliable?

At best I'll get this bit for bit on my DVB card (new acquisition but no Astra 2 cable to it yet), at utter "worst" it'll be from a Comag box, over optical audio to a DVD.

Well, it depends on the specifics of the astra stream, some of the are FOUL, but nonetheless point taken.

However, tis accademic in my case, as I faceplanted my pillow around 1700hrs and didn't move til 2000hrs, so I'm not terribly impressed with myself.

MYOB thinks he should have got a good copy - hes sorting it out over the next couple of days & then we can move this to 'the other' thread:thumb:
