Still no sign of me ticket. Instead they tried to deliver it to an AMANDA Jarvis I work with, when I was away in Germania (they'd missed the day I actually asked them to deliver!).

All that hassle to buy the fcukers then they can't even deliver 'em properly!

Got my tickets a couple of days ago... this will be the first time I've seen them live since the Reading Festival years ago.

The excitement is finally building. Have you seen the final lineup?

I'll turn up to the cider bus, if I can find it.

Thinking of making a flag for the tent. Hmmmmm:skeptic:

From Warner :

New Order's performance at Glastonbury is being webcast this year by www.playlouder.com. Here's some info that they have sent over that you can put up on the site about it:

Can't go to Glastonbury this year? Fear not, for you can watch New Order's full performance from the festival for free in the comfort of your own computer chair. All you'll need is a broadband connection and a copy of Windows Media Player and it'll be just like you're there, only minus the mud and 100,000 other people. But then again, they'd all make a mess of your living room anyway! Watch at http://glastonbury.playlouder.com where the exact webcast times will announced shortly.

We are taking a midday flight to Bristol, and so I'm not so sure if I'll be along, setup etc on time for the Cider Bus meet.

Anyhow, Im sure I'll spot the vikings at the gig itself.

I'd love to be able to watch NO at Glastonbury this way, but my Windows Media Player simply refuses to play streaming video. I've got 1MB broadband connection, the latest version of WMP (V10), and have no trouble playing streaming video on Real Player or DivX. I know this isn't a tech forum, but any suggestions anyone? Cheers.

I'm getting so excited about this now...it'll be my 1st NO gig, plus it's glastonbury! For anyone who's never been, and is just going because of the Order, the whole festival is amazing, you'll have an awesome time. And yeah the cider there is good stuff....

Anyone taking a 'WHOOOOOOOP!' flag? :thumb:

well, I'm about to make your day.

For the past two years the webcasts have been in WM and I (wrongly) assumed it'd be the same this year. Then late on Friday I was told they'll be in Real this year. So it looks like you'll be able to watch it problem-free this year...

Sorry for the confusion, I was just going on the info I had at the time!

Melissa (PlayLouder tech guru)

PS: if anybody else has tech problems during the broadcast, email help@playlouder.com and I'll try to answer you ASAP. Either myself or someone else will be answering emails on site the whole weekend (though I really hope it's someone else stuck in the portacabin during NO!!).

Oh & you're a babe too, Melissa. I've had real player happening with radio one to catch jules, fergie & the like & it's superb. Visual is good(I've only done it a few times;mines' an audio world)but to have 'NO' on real player live @ Glasto while sitting in me garden with Mount Fuji on me left in full view---this will be awesome. Garbage, Basement Jaxx, too. Switch to radio one for early tent sets there, on around noon here. We'll have a BBQ and'll be raving in the garden. The time difference is a wonderful thing & works in our favour as we've got kids. We have these mid morning starter alcoholic weekends here...I'm going on.Sorry:laugh:

Moving on from this Playlouder advertisement...

What time is the rest of the contingent arriving saturday? Saturday has a cracking lineup, so not sure what time would be best for a meet up then. Kaiser Chiefs, Futureheads, Echo and the Bunnymen and Interpol are all playing late afternoon and early evening. anyways, most of yer have me number so get texting when you get near.
