Come on Toronto

Most groups (aside from stadium crushers like U2 or similar acts like...Celine Dion
) New Order might play a show or two in Toronto. Most groups who play in Toronto often play in Hamilton and Montreal. The odd group will play more than one show in each/or any of those citites. If the demand is there and if New Order tours North America they will get there I am certain ![]()
The area 51 tour, they were supposed to play in Toronto but they dropped off the tour just before it arrived here. I was planning on seeing them too.
If they come to the Rogers Center (Skydome), if your not a Roger's customer, you would have to pay $15000. Where as if you are you get a 5% cut on the admission.

How about checking the front page? ;)
HE HE ... IT'S FUNNY THAT I GO STRAIGHT TO THE FORUMS PAGE 'CAUSE THINGS ARE ANNOUNCED THERE SOONER THAN THEY ARE ON THE HOME PAGE.
BTW...I POSTED THAT QUESTION JUST BEFORE YOU PUT IT UP ON THE HOME PAGE.
I agree. I would be in NYC or Chicago but our baby is due on the 10th of May, so i'm not heading out of town anywhere.
I think back to the drawing power new order has had in Toronto, 93- approx 10,000?, 89- 25,000, 87 25,000. There is a hardcore fanbase here. The closest things we have had were Monaco in 97 and Electronic dropping by CFNY and Much Music (or edge or whatever it was called then) in 96.
I will probably sneak out to the New York event at the Mod Club next friday. Should be interesting to see what kind of crowd Hooky and can pull in.
Mod club DJ's like to drop a lot of New Order in their sets, so it's a good venue for him to be at.
If they do any gigs next year for the next album, they better hit the North American markets they missed the last 2 times through.

They SHOULD come to Toronto!! All the bands I like never come to Canada, not to mention ontario. I'd actually go if they came to Toronto, or Hamilton too I guess.
These days, you have more chances to see Stephen Harper perform at the corner of Yonge and Bloor than seeing New Order.
That's the reality today.
Wait' a go, Canada!!! ![]()
